Acceptable Use Statement
1. All Ingalax.net users must comply with all local, state,
and federal laws.
2. User shall not post, transmit, or permit to be posted or transmitted
any material which is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, invasive
of privacy or publicity rights, obscene, pornographic, profane or which
violates or infringes in any way upon the rights of others, or which encourages
conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to a civil
liability or otherwise violate any law.
3. User shall not post, transmit or permit to be posted or transmitted
any information or software which the User is aware contains a virus or
other harmful component.
4. Any conduct by User that in Ingalax.net's discretion adversely affects
the ability of any other User from using or enjoying Ingalax.net services
or the Internet is prohibited.
5. Sending unsolicited e-mail is prohibited, nor is the sending of threatening
or harassing e-mail..
6. Any unauthorized attempt to access any computer system or data bank
is prohibited.
7. Ingalax.net will cooperate with the appropriate legal authorities in
investigating claims of illegal activity, including but not limited to
illegal transfer or use of copyrighted or other illegal activity or postings
or e-mail containing threats of violence, or other illegal activity.
Ownership/Copyright
User shall not upload, post, transmit or otherwise make available any
material protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary
right without the express permission of the owner of the proprietary right.
The burden of determining that any material is not protected by proprietary
rights rests with the User. User shall be solely liable for any damage
resulting from any infringement of copyrights, proprietary rights or any
other harm resulting from submission of protected material.
Indemnification
User agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Ingalax.net, its directors,
officers and agents from any and all liabilities, costs, claims and expenses,
including reasonable attorneys' fees, relating to or arising out of the
use of Ingalax.net.
Enforcement
Any person making unauthorized use of Ingalax.net in violation of laws
including (but not limited to) the Privacy Protection Act of 1974; the
Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986; the Computer Virus Education Act
of 1989; Interstate Transportation of Stolen Property; the Virginia Computer
Crimes Act; and the Electronic Communication Privacy Act, may be prosecuted.
